I believe they are since the bushings are solid...I got them as part of the SLP PP Level 1 suspension with the Bilstein shocks/Eibach springs as well as other stuff about 5 years ago. At the time I already had Spohn LCA's with poly ends installed so I left these in my basement. But now with all the talk of how poly ends bind up the suspension when cornering, I am debating putting these on instead. Can anyone confirm? TIA

I don't think I could tell the difference in those and my stock Z pieces.

They appear to be the same as my original trailing arms.
I understand the argument about binding the suspension and probably will try the UMI sperical end arms this summer.
However as per my sig I currently have the Lakewood arms (w/Poly bushings) and these were an improvement over the original 1LE arms. Especially if the rear end starts to get out from under you at speed. Recovery is more easily controlled and the "snap-back" is significantly less.

I believe you are right . I was actually just talking to a friend about stock vs. 1LE LCA's ... I believe the stock ones don't have completely solid bushings ... there are (4?) "reliefs" cut through the rubber.

Apparently the "good" thing about stock arms (even with 1LE or poly bushings) is that since they are NOT completely solid, they will allow for axial twist (along their length) which allows the car/diff to roll without binding the up/down movement of the LCA's.

Solid LCA's with solid (poly) bushings work great in a straight line up/down, but when you roll the car into a corner, as the bars try to twist, they can't, and that puts a resistance on the bars' movement up/down.

That's why spherical ends are the best, because they can rotate in all directions, free of interference from opposing movements.

I believe my original arms had the "relief" cuts as the Capt stated...they are long gone thus I can't compare

Thats what I remember as well....I don't really want rod ends so my choices would either be use these or maybe the J&M ball n cup version??

Is there a part # on them? The 4th Gen FAQ shows this for the 1LE:

My stock bushings had hollow slots in them.

My car IS an original, from the factory 1995 1LE Camaro. The original, from the factory, stock bushings are solid. There are no grooves, reliefs or slots in them. The car handles better with the Lakewood, square tube poly-bushings than with the original 1LE trailing arms.

If that's what you mean, then I think we all agree. The bushings in question are standard (non-1LE) bushings, that I believe are NOT 100% solid like those (we believe) 1LE arms pictured above .

Heck, I have my originals in a box in my loft ..... I should just check them out at some point and confirm all this!!

LOL, thanks for the help guys....no part numbers are stamped on the arms, but I guess we can agree they are 1LE. Now do I use them or not? LOL!! Anyone heard any feedback on the J&M stuff?

They look like 1Le pieces. From the factory, 1Le susp./trans mount parts were sprayed with a blue dot or stripe on them, the z28 parts had pink dots spray painted on them.
