Just understand that the crossdrilled slotted stuff is for looks mostly. Personally, i just stick with stock replacement rotors (Autozone or whatever) and use Hawk pads. For street use, i'd stick with the HPS pads. The HP+ pads are supposed to be good for autox. I'm gonna try those next.

I like all the propaganda about the braking enhancement from drilled/slotted they put in there. I should get a restrictive muffler and write how backpressure creates more torque and see if people will buy.
The deal doesn't looke like anything special to me. I've seen rotor and pad combos for LS1's go for a little more.

i have heard arguments form both sides of the fence on the drilled and slotted from people of all back grounds. But a few people that I trust pretty well with advise on this topic (Doers not just Internet readers) recommend that I stick with a set of Blanks (stock) rotors and if I do upgrade the brake system to start with Pads and/or calipers. This advise was giving for the following purpose of having a fun car for strip, street, and track.
food for thought: Many of the porche guys doing Auto-X remove the drilled and slotted rotors for a set of blanks.

Throw in fresh, more performance oriented fluid and I'd agree. Some good performance pads and fresh fluid make a huge difference.
