To those that added double diamond style sfcs...

Did you replace the tunnel brace /g-load brace while you were at it? IS it worth the upgrade form the factory stamped steel piece?

I was running without that brace for quite awhile until my chassis mounted Spohn torque arm went in and took that place. I really didn't notice it not being there so I would imagine an aftermarket one wouldn't make a drastic difference either. I don't think they are cheap either for what they are, I think they run close to a hundred bucks.

I did the slp triangulated subframe connectors, and reused the steel one until I got the spohn torque arm. the steel would be fine. put the hundred bucks somewhere useful.

You can just remove the steel one with no adverse affect. The guys I know who run the Camaro/Mustang Challenge don't run the tunnel brace to save weight. If those cars don't need it, yours doesn't either.

Agreed, definitely a better way of spending the money to put something in that place. Rick, does your Spohn arm have the driveshaft loop built into it?

Yes it does Chris, and I'm going to put one in the back too, for added safety. Hell, I might even have a six point bar put in, for safety. Now theres a thought.
