I need to purchase a wrench to remove the tie rod ends, can someone tell me what size i need? thanks in advance.

It's a locking nut you need to unscrew, not the tie rod end. The nut is a 7/8. The tie rod unscrews really easy. Just make sure you know exactly where it was so your alignment isn't off and you get some mad pull.

My 1995 Z28 is a 22 mm.

I already had the lock nut off, the tie rod isnt coming off easy, must be rust or something...i shot some zep on it and am going to get a wrench. I painted the threads where they meet the tie rod and it will be getting an alignment afterwards.

22 mm wrench, and a big adjustable. Use the 22mm to break the big nut loose first, before unbolt the tie rod end from the knucle. Hold the tie rod with the adjustable , and spin off the end.
