Time for new rotors.

I think it's time for new rotors. I am not looking for anything special, don't need slotted or drilled. Just want something that will resist warping better than my OEM rotors (already turned once). I have enquired at AutoZone, they have a brand called Duralast in stock. Does anyone know how good these are? Another parts store has Armco/Aimco?, how are they?

From reading old posts, I understand that replacing the pads will be necessary. Should I look for a particular material or brand with the above rotors. If someone should recommend a different rotor which pad should I go with?

So all in all, I'm looking for recommendations for new rotors and pads. The car is a daily driver, and I've never autocrossed. Car is in sig.

Thanks in advance

BREMBO blanks, go BREMBO and never look back. LOVE mine. Tire Rack has em, and ship em fast as hell. I was shocked when I saw how cheap Brembo rotors were. Def worth it IMO

Re: Time for new rotors.

I can say that aimco blanks work great, and they are reasonably priced as well. Whether you buy really expensive rotors or Aimco ones, all of them will be made of cast iron regardless. Fancy zinc coating wears right off. Crossdrilling and slotting is more for looks.

The quality in pads vary alot from brand to brand. Local parts stores will not carry good pads, you can try stranoparts for PBR pads.
