Tires Rub Help Me

i was told i should get spacers, but i only need them in the back, can i do that? I need spacers for the rear zo6 rims i got, with 56mm offset, front is 54, front is fine tho, back rubs , will it ride or look off if i get the 1/4 inch spacer just in the back?

It should look better with the spacers, moving the back wheels from being too deep in the wheel well. Can we assume you have an 18x10.5 in the back, and 17x9.5 in the front?

You aren't going to notice any difference in handling or ride quality from a 1/4" spacer. But try and find a high quality spacer that "centers" on the hub. Most of the cheapies from your local auto parts store will have large holes to fit many different bolt patterns, and will not center correctly.

Also, you may need longer studs. The thread of the studs needs to engage the threads of the lugs by at least 1/2" (12mm... but that's close enough). If you put the lugs on and the studs aren't near the ends (if you have open lugs and can see them), you need longer studs. Be sure to check carefully, if you have closed end lugs as well.

I'm always a little leary about using spacers on a highly loaded wheel, but apparently there are people using them, including serious road race and Auto-X racers, without problems.
