Tool to remove calipers

I did my brake job at my uncles house and he had the tools for it. I want to buy the tool that you use to remove the brake calipers. There are 2 or 3 screws on the back with a weird bit you have to use.

What is the bit called and can i get it at autozone/murrays?

Re: Tool to remove calipers

Eh? Why would you need a tool to remove the calipers... I've never had to use one. Do you mean a tool that compresses the cylinder so you can get the caliper back on? (I've always used a C-Clamp for that)

Yup. I have an entire set that I bought over at Harbor Freight. It's all bits that fit onto your 3/8" ratchet. Complete set of Allen, screwdriver, and Torx bits. I bought it a long time ago, so I don't remember what I spent, but I'm sure it wasn't over $20. So just go get yourself the entire set. You can spend $20 on one bit if you don't look around. So just get the entire set.

It's called an allen key socket. It's a 3/8 bit head on a 3/8s drive.

You can pick one up at your local parts store, I did.
