Suggestion - Add a "signature" with basic info about your car, like year, model, tranny type, and any major mods. Without that info, its almost impossible to give a meaningful answer to a question like this.

just because it's stock doesnt mean it's bad. some are running some pretty low numbers on stock. i think low 10's is on a stock bottom end....and TA. stock heads flow pretty good if ported, stock 6-spd tranny can handle 450 tq easily enough....any way....there has to be something else in the line that's causing you to break a torque arm. it's just there to keep the axle in line. i dont think you're pushing the numbers to crumple a torque arm....but, look into a bent axle/rear, woarn bushings in the lower control arms, woarn shock mounts...that's about it...
