The Spohn front mount comes with the thin rubber pads glued to the mounting surfaces. Entire mount is powder coated.

Thanks, Fred. You just ruined it for us...we thought we were actually being intelligent for a little while.

I feel stupified, and not in the good way either.

Just got off the phone with Steve Spohn himself. Nice guy to talk to.

He said that the most common time people complain about road noise and creaking is if they have a Moser rear end.

There ARE 1/16" rubber pads on the cross brace.

Based on my short conversation with him...because of the way the brace is designed, there is a bit more ground clearance taken up. I don't think it is a big deal, certainly not as bad (or at least not worse) than the BMR cross brace. You always have to use a bit of extra caution with a lowered car anyway.

I guess it is time to put my Trak Pak up for sale. I have always been somewhat loyal to BMR, but in this case I gotta do what is best for my car and my driving enjoyment.

I run Sportlines, I wonder if I would have problems. How low are you running Jason?

[edit] you run about 1.3 (checked the sig) Im running about 1.6-1.8 average I guess? with the sportlines. I hope I wont have any problems, but my friends t/a is dropped around 3.5 and he only scrapes the exhaust.

So they were saying the TA scrapes to much? Well I'm screwed, especially with more drop and nothing to mount the TA to other than the transmission. (I have a th-350 in mine)

Good to hear, I'll keep checking back

If you 2 don't come up with something, I wonder if I can use a SPOHN third gen tranny mount TA on my 4th gen, then buy a B&M mount kit for my TH350.

Wonder if there the same length/size, they should be....

Also does the SPOHN arm mount to where the g-load brace goes/went?

Anybody used the rod type ends? I wonder how much extra road noise they actually make. I wonder if it's too much for someone who is 19 years old Abybody know how much extra road noise those rod ends make.......compare it to something.

You wont be disapointed from the Spohn TA - its a HIGH quality piece - as are all their pieces.

Like has been stated - you WILL pick up a little road noise with the new TA - but nothing more then what you picked up with the LCAs (if using poly bushings). The poly is soft enough - yet hard enough to let the vibs come into the interior slightly... but the tradeoff is worth it IMO.

It would be considerable. I wouldnt even think twice about it on a "Driver". For track only car, sure - Id get the rod ends... but for a driver - Poly would be the only way to go.

P.S. Damn the 60 second post rule
