Torque arm pinion angle after lowering

Has anyone bothered to see what the change in pinion angle is after you've lowered your car? Maybe half a degree?

Re: Torque arm pinion angle after lowering

The bigger issue is the angle of your LCAs if you didn't add LCA relocation brackets. The change in LCA angle promotes wheel hop and poorer cornering.

Re: Torque arm pinion angle after lowering

thanks for your response you are correct. Traction was horrible before I installed them. I realize that lowering your car usually means your running a stiffer spring which hurts weight transfer but I just wonder how much of an angle difference it makes. I guess I'll have to do the math.

Home Depot and Sears sell a magnetic angle finder for $10. You measure the driveshaft angle and the rearend angle (use the torque arm mount).
