Torque Arm...A worthy mod???

Re: Torque Arm...A worthy mod???
i did not notice my car hooking up any better with an aftermarket piece... It may grab alittle better but it was not noticable.. Edelbrock stock length replacement. It was non adjustable... im sure with an adjustable u can get a lower 60 foot out of it.. Mine could have gave my car a .1 better 60 foot but thats something u cant "feel."
My stock arm was cracking from the stress of a 400hp engine. I know 2 people who cracked there stocker bad enough to where they snapped in 1/2.. They break at the rear end where the 2 bolts attach it to the rearend. They ended up doing more damage to the car..
I'd change it...

For straight line traction, yes I could feel the difference it made. I have the BMR track pack. It adds a little road noise, and is very low. I almost wish I didn't have it because I scrape easily, and this is my daily driver. I would imagine that one that mounts to the tranny would help, just not as much.

Re: Torque Arm...A worthy mod???
I just installed a spohn c/m torque arm and all I can say is after I adjusted it right it does what no stock arm can do! If I knew I could get my car to hook this Hard with an arm , I would have done it long ago. def worth it IMO
