Re: traction

number one TIRES

on a bolt on LT1 i could chirp 4th occasionally with old crappy tires.

put on some 245width firestone firehawk SZ50s and never even chirped 3rd after that!!

suspension wise...lower control arms, relocation brackets, and a poly torque arm mount will greatly improve traction

Re: traction

i have 245 5- r16 kumho esta supras...and they hook really good over my old tires like from 20mph in first about 3500 rpm it will spin i guess bc its outa the torque range but theres where i race from bc every1 else has sticks and take me off the line i have an a4 and my tranny shirps second normally but that was only with cold air now im about to have full exhuast and some other stuff with brand new rebuild so ima be makin hopefully at least 30 more hp i was at 125k before...so things will be tightened up with better flow...worried about traction because next mod will be 4.10 in my a4
and is this goana put enough stress oin the tranny to blow it out or will it even make any change on the tranny

Re: traction

1. Tires
2. Relocation brakets......don't ask me how, but they just do onthe bottom hole.
3. Torque Arm
4. Lower Control Arms

In that order you will see the best gains
