tunnel brace mount or transmission mount torque arm for better 60ft times?

This could be a dumb question but can one of these types of torque arms somehow give better 60ft times than the other? Thanks for any help.

I don't know of one over the other will make better 60ft times, but I'm sure the chassis mounted style will handle the abuse of lower sixty foot times better then the trans mounted style.

I believe the chassis mount is a better design as it controls pinion angle better. If you look at the transmission mount design when the car launches, the tranny movement is huge.

Think of it this way... when you launch, the front of the TA is forced upward. With a chassis mount, it lifts the front of the car, immediately. With a tranny mount, it lifts the back of the tranny, and assuming the tranny mount hasn't ripped in half, eventually starts to lift the chassis.... but by then its too late.

Im curious during a hard launch is the front of the torque arm trying to lift the tranny and front or does the torque reverse and the front anchor and try to force the rear end down?? Any thoughts?

The tires are turning one direction, and the axle housing sees "an equal and opposite force", meaning the torque arm is lifted during acceleration.

A shorter torque arm, usually using a body mount, should provide a better 60'.
