Uneven Rear End - Help Please!
Ok, so I have been having some trouble with vibration for quite a long time now and I think I may have a lead.
We measured the distance between the tires and the wheel well on the rear end, and the drivers side is 1/4" closer than the passengers side. I would imagine this would cause the pull in the car and some vibration. My question is, how do I fix this?
When I first bought the car, I had a buddy weld up some subframe connectors. We put it on a drive on lift, disconnected one LCA at a time to weld it up, then put them back on. Do I need to unbolt the LCA's again and attempt to move the drivers side back a bit? Any other ideas?
BTW: All suspension parts are stock to my knowledge, other than the subframe connects.

Take it to an alignment shop and see what they say when they align your car. If in fact one side is farther forward than the other then you have a tracking problem and as said above the only way to fix it is to get adjustable LCA's and shorten or lengthen one side to match the other. You can try to fix it how you described, but I'm not sure how big the bolt hole is to allow you to slid it back a little and retighten. Since measuring the way you described isn't really the correct way to do it and not totally accurate I would take it tot he shop and see if it really is out of spec.
