Upgrading to LS1 brakes

I was just wondering if the LS1 calipers have a provision for the e brake. Does it have to be modified in any way? Is it true that LS1 brakes are lighter?

Re: Upgrading to LS1 brakes

We have specific forums for specific topics..... "brakes" don't belong on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". Please post on correct forum.

Moving to "Suspension, Chassis and Brakes"

Re: Upgrading to LS1 brakes

LS1's have the e-brakes on the inside hub of the rear drums like a mini-drum set up.

There is no real point in switching to the LS1 brakes in the rear.
