V6 springs?????

I was reading the latest GM High Tech magazine and one of the cars is running V6 Firebird springs in the back? I thought V6 springs in the front were good for weight transfer but in the back? How would they help in the rear? Should I just pick up some V6 springs or keep my Eibach Drag Launch kit, or the QA1 springs? Any help is appreciated !!! Thanx!!

Re: V6 springs?????

They don't. Squat is bad.

Re: V6 springs?????

They don't help on a properly setup suspension. You don't want the rear to squat (which V6 springs will do since they're a softer spring). V6 springs may help in the front, but I've never ran them.
