What do I need to install a front swaybar?

Ok, so I just got my 1LE front swaybar today. What all do I need to get it installed? I know I need 21mm bushings and endlinks. Anything else?

Are these parts numbers correct and still valid?

1LE Front 32 mm Stabilizer Bar Insulator (GM p/n 10288551) $7.66 2-req for the front. [These are the durometer ones right?]

1LE Stabilizer Bar Endlinks (GM p/n 10221779) $7.05 2-req for the front.

Nothing else needed.

The numbers are still good.

"Durometer" is the measure of hardness of the bushing "[These are the durometer ones right?]". Not sure if those are extra hard, but they are the only ones GM has available.

Let me know how that things ride with the new Sway, I need one and new shocks, its getting rediculous ridding in a car that handles like a 77 Coupe Deville.

You ever hang out or cruise anywhere? I am stuck with a very open weekend.

I'm usually out in Boardman on the weekends [if the weathers nice]. Chili's in Boardman [by the mall] always has a cruise on Saturday from 6-8. And they are always packed with cars.

Re: What do I need to install a front swaybar?

I just bought a 1LE front sway bar. I was wondering what bushings and end links are even availabe for this? I will probably go with GM ones, but are they poly or rubber?

Do the end links come one total end link per package?

I just went to autozone to get a set of polyurethane endlinks, two per package. They have different ones so ask which one is right. You can get either polyurethane bushings, or do what I did. I went to www.slponline.com and under their 93-97 Firehawk, then clearance, page 3. I got the durometer bushings.

Ah, so do you think the duro ones are better or what? Are they the same as poly or just a harder rubber?

I got the durometer ones because I didn't want any squeaks. They're just harder rubber, like a step between rubber and poly. You will be fine with poly.

Ok, I see, I might still get them, I'll check out how much everything is at Autozone first, no matter how much I dislike the place.

How did you like your 1LE when you put it on? Noticeable improvement?

I still have to install it I'm waiting until I get a bunch of other things to install along with it [new tires, tranny mount, panhard bar, rear swaybar bushings].

Man get it on there. When are you putting this stuff on? I can give some insight to that stuff, since I've done them already. If you need an extra hand let me know. With my G/F living in Cleveland the weeknights are boring.
