What spring rates are you guys using?
Just wondering because I have some qa1's with some super ridiculously soft rear springs for drag. I want to set everything up so its a fairly balanced car.
What do you guys suggest?
thanks

Re: What spring rates are you guys using?
V8 front springs were 292 lb/in from the factory.
V8 Rear springs were 114 lb/in from the factory.
V8 WS6/1LE and some SS front springs were 360 lb/in from the factory.
V8 WS6/1LE and some SS rear springs were progressive 130-170lb/in from the factory.

Glad to help,
Springs and spring rates have become a bit of a nightmare for me, I know them by heart.

Is the car driveable on the street with those high spring rates? What would you guys say are the max spring rates that won't jar out your fillings over every little crack in the road?
I've been looking to lower my car by about 1" and don't want a spring that will totally kill the ride.

I daily drive mine. It's quite firm of course, but not as bad as one might think. Good shocks and proper suspension travel eliminate much of the harshness people get with soft lowering springs that have them bouncing off the bumpstops constantly. Of course there's no need to go as stiff as I have for the street only.
