Whats the point of Adj. LCA's

Can someone tell me the purpose of adjustable Lower control arms on a street/strip Z? Do I have to have these adjustable to be able to use the adjustable torque arm to give me afew degrees or will non-adj LCAs have enough slop to allow the 2 dsgrees change of the torque arm

The reason for adjustable LCAs is to allow you to center the tires within your wheel wells if you change tire size (go from the stock 26" diameter to 28" slicks). Some people like the added adjustability to correct for minor alignment defects from mass produced cars. For most of us they're overkill.
