Wheel and C5 Brake Clearance Issue

Wheel and C5 Brake Clearance Issue
To accomodate my front C5 brake setup I bought a set of 17"x9" ROH Snyper wheels from Group A Wheels, both of which was my goal to install this last weekend. I've always liked those wheels and finding them for a decent price made the purchase irresistable. Turns out that even though they are 17" wheels there is a clearance problem with the C5 brake calipers. There's a raised flat ridge on the back side of the spokes that sits up approximately 1/8" above the back of the spokes but narrower than the spoke. The spokes on these wheels angle away from the hub for approximately 1/4 of their length then abruptly crown and angle toward the rim for the rest of their length. They're not a mostly flat, vertical spoke like on a ZR1 style wheel. This angling back toward the rim intercepting the rim about an inch or so inside of the outer lip combined with that raised ridge on the back side of the spokes causes the wheel to just barely catch a spot on the back side of the spokes on the outer shoulder of the caliper. It appears to me that if I were to offset the front wheels perhaps less than an 1/8" from flush with the hub that they would clear the calipers. I'm hoping someone has some sound suggestions on how to safely accomplish this offset? Imagine my dissappoinment upon making this discovery.

Re: Wheel and C5 Brake Clearance Issue
Anyone? Moderator, not sure what prompted me to post this in this section, perhaps it would be more appropriate in the Wheels section.
