Who has needed a vacuum booster to better braking?

I mounted my pump in the rear pan area. Plumbed to the Vac booster thru a rear pan area hole and under the car along the left side tunnel up to the vac booster. (Usered 1/2 alum tube and -8 socketless hose.) You may only need an aux surge canister as posted above. I did not have any vac (3" Hg.) @ idle with improvements on blower intake duct flow. Also, I had to wire a power source for the pump and choose to use a relay and toggle switch to engage relay. It helped to have a rear mount battery for power source. The other method is to go hydraulic. More expensive and more mod work to remove the Vac booster. b> (97ss 383 - D1)
