who has stock rack no PS?

looking for poeple that have the stock powersteering rack and pinion, but no powersteering. Looking at ditching my powersteering and wondering if I can get by for a while without getting a manual rack for now.

Seems like I recently read of a guy that ran the power rack without the pump for a year without issue. I am assuming he connected the inlet to the outlet to recirculate the fluid. He then put a relocated pump on it and it was fine.

Its not an issue. Just keep skinnies on it if you can, makes it much easier to turn.
Still a PITA though.
Luckily I just back mine out of the garage on the weekends to look cool.
