Who out there has Hawk HP Plus pads?

I got em, drilled and slotted rotors all the way around with Hawk HP "race" pads all the way around.
Dusty as hell! rims are pretty dusty after just a week of driving. In town or highway doesn't seem to change much for dust.
When its cold out and you just start driving it you have to be alittle careful, they don't like to grab at all.. you have to really hammer the pedal to get it to stop until the pads warmup alittle, then they stop like better then anything i've ever felt. I've gone from 170mph to 90mph in one hard stomp of the brakes and the car slowed down faster then the speedo could read!
I love them btw!

I've got upgraded Baer calipers with steel braded brake lines in mine. I just ordered a new set of their X-drilled and slotted rotors. The just got cryogenically treated yesterday. I got some HP Plus pads to go with them, and was curious of how they will perform on my system.

Other than the warmup and the extreme dust, you LOVE them. I never worry if i will be able to stop in time no matter how fast i go.
I've given people rides in my car and when i show them how good the brakes work i get the same response. "Holy ****!"

I got my pads from Sam Strano.
The price on rotors will depend on their quality. You can get a set of X-drilled and slotted rotors for cheep, however if they are not thick in mass, they will warp easy. Not to mention if they are also thin in mass, the X-drilled section will crack easily. Sometimes you are better off getting expensive ones knowing they are high quality than going with something "cheep" (not stating specifically that myslowcamaro got cheep ones

I just got a set of 13.5 Baer X-drilled, slotted, and zinc washed rotors from T-byrne. They still cost me a bundle, but were much cheeper than getting them through Baer. I also got them cryogenically frozen to help strengthen them, and to extend their life, as well as help prevent cracking in the X-drilled sections.

she was just as helpful. i went with ws6 in the end because of price, but i would definately buy from sam in the future. he frowns on cross drilled and slotted rotors tho. the rotors that bayer-z28 and i got are pretty thick and weigh in at 20lbs a piece.
