Just helped my friend do a brake job on his Baer Track Kit setup with cross-drilled/slotted rotors. Micro-cracks on several of the cross-drilled sections. I have the same setup, although newer. My next rotors will be solid.

Thats the best way to go. I like the look enough were I just would rather have them anyways. Reinforced this time with the cryo treatment.
