Z06 red rear calipers

Z06 red rear calipers
Does anyone know if the red Z06 rear calipers will work on a 93 thru 97 ?
If so does anyone have a link on the process. I wanted to replace my rear rotor with a powerslot or kvr and use the red Z06 caliper. I was told that this setup would still allow me to run a 15" drag wheel in the back.

Re: Z06 red rear calipers
I have the Z06 front brakes.
I asked about the rears from the Z06, I was told that they are smaller than the LT1 camaro rear brakes. Camaro is a heavier car.
So it was my understanding that there would be no advantage to the swap and I am not even sure it can be done.
Possible option, AutoZone has rebuilt rear LT1 calipers that are powder coated red. Check their website.

Re: Z06 red rear calipers
The reason I wanted the rear Z06 calipers is the exact reason you stated.
"I asked about the rears from the Z06, I was told that they are smaller than the LT1 camaro rear brakes. Camaro is a heavier car"
I'm trying to get a smaller caliper than what is on my LT1 now. If the Z06 rear caliper will work and is smaller then I would not have to grind the caliper to clear a 15" drag rim.
Anyone have some insight on this .....
