I remember reading somewhere that someone took heads off of a newer 3.4l engine and upper and lower intake manifolds off of a 3.1l engine and getting tremendous gains for a 3.4l. Also with some sort of exhaust (header) modifications. I was wondering if anyone knew anymore on this, and where I could possibly find more information on it. Thanks for any help guys.

im currently gathering parts for the 3x00 swap

it requires a bit of custom fabrication, and isnt exactly easy.

he had to get a set of headers because the bolts for the stock f-body exhaust manifolds are closer than the alumnium head exhaust manifold bolts, he had to make the hole for the bolts larger and there wasnt enough room on the stock manifolds for this , so he got headers
