just got my car back today after 28 hours of testing/ replacing and 2,000 bucks later i finialy got the problem solved it was the MAF sensor causing all of the problems.... wish i knew that before dumping 2 grand into it

if you all didn't know, you can get an aerosal cleaner for MAF sensors for a few bucks at an auto store, 90% of time a sensor that throws a code just needs to be cleaned. I tell you with all the stories I read on thsi board I am sold on just taking my car to a mechanic when I dont know what's wrong with it. Cross my fingers on my 2000, now at 89,000 miles since I bought it with 3,000 and it's never had to see a mechanic except for maintenance.

no my car wouldn't stay running long enough to throw a code but i did have a 02 code but i also don't have an exghust cuz im broke and i think that is causing my 02 sensor to be going off
