Drugs are bad, mmmmkay....

94 V6 was only the 3.4l in 95 there was a 3.4l and 3.8l but a 3.8l wouldn't beat a LT1 Z28. There was a turbo V6 third generation Trans Am, that could probably beat a LT1.

In '95 they started to put the 3.8 in production but that only has 200 hp, no way any V6 could beat a Z. It doesn't even make sense, why would GM build a V6 to compete with there high performance models

Now hold on, modified V6s could take out a slower example of a stock LT1 automatic. I'm talking ET, not MPH in the quarter. A 3.8 with all the right stuff ETs in the 13s when a slower LT1 with a not the hottest driver could be in the low 14s. Is it possible? Yeah, the odds that you'll see someone put that much into a V6 is rare.

He seems to be talking about engines offered from GM, not modified examples. In that case a "lightly modified" V8 will slaughter a "slower example" of a stock V6

I agree, i have a 95 firebird, 3.4 M5 and my truck will absolutely destroy it acceleration wise (5.3 auto). I've also driven a few LT1's and they make an early 4th gen feel like an entirely different car from their V6 siblings.

i think the years are mixed up. in 95 2 v6 engines were offered. a modified 3.8 could beat a stock v8. stock for stock, no.
