American Racing Torq-Thrust II 17 x 9.5

Hey guys i went to a Good Year dealer and wanted to get an estimate on how much it would be to get American Racing Torq-Thrust II 17 x 9.5 for my '96 camaro 3.8L. Hey phoned American Racing to see how much they were and they said that because of the offset if i had those rims on my car that every time I had a couple people in the back seat and went over a bump the tired would hit the fender. But i've seen soooo many guys with these rims on their camaro's, because they're definately the nicest rims. Have you guys heard about this before or experienced this?

I use to have them on my car and didn't have any trouble at all. Just make sure you get the right offset.
