broken vacuum line

I was not getting air to come out of the front vents even though air comes out the top and bottom vents. several people had suggested to check for a vacuum leak and particularly the vacuum lines that come into the vacuum check valve at the passenger side of the engine. It appears that there is a broken vacuum line that comes off the vacuum check valve and this line goes into the firewall. the line is broken off at the firewall side.

How do you fix this since there isn't any room to maneuver?
The vacuum line seems to be cut at the base which is at the firewall.

Re: broken vacuum line

well if its doing though the fierwall then there would be a lil grommet that it should pop though and easily come out for cases like this.

Re: broken vacuum line

since the broken vacuum line needs to be reinsterted at the firewall and there is hardly any room to reach back there, is there a tool or a way to reinsert the line. Could it be done from the inside the cabin the of the car.

my hands are just too big to reach through all the wiring, etc... to get back there to replug the line. any ideas???
