Ok say when im going 70 and hit the gas half or all the way down it starts to chug and sometimes chug bad! Like its getting no gas at all! So i changed my Fuel Filter and also my air filters just to make sure and still is doing the same thing! So say i gun some 93 octane gas and some injecter clean it runs great but with regular gas its horrible! this just recently started happening and never did this before,,,,,,, is my engine going?????

 

could it be my spart pluggs its been about 6 months sence i changed them and i think i have drivin 13,000 miles on them

 

Sounds like you're getting detonation with the lower grade gas? Do a search for detonation here on the boards and you should come up with some helpful links explaining what some of the problems may be causing it. Does your exhaust ever blow blue smoke when you first start it?

 

no some times it blows white smoke and some times it doesnt

 

white smoke usually means a blown head gasket (if you're lucky) or a cracked water jacket. either way somehow water/coolent is getting into your cylinders.

 

So what does blue smoke mean and what can you do to correct it

 

blue smoke= burning oil if its only a bit at startup dont worry if its when your driving then yes could be rings/valve seals

white smoke for the first 20mins+ when you start your car can be normal from condensation in the exaust

 

if it does smoke at start up it only smokes for like 5 seconds.... when i drive you dont see smoke so i dunno
