car idles like it has an aftermarket cam but doesnt. too rich

Hey guys I'm new here to this forum. My name is Joe. So here is everything about my car. It's a 1994 with Tue 3.4L v6 and 5 speed. I traded a motorcycle for this car. Previous owner stated that the cat was removed has a strait pipe there. The car is running too rich my plugs are covered in black soot and I have some greyish blackish smoke coming from my exhaust. It idles like it has a nice aftermarket cam but does not. Pulled all my plugs and they are all the same looking with the black soot. Previous owner installed Bosch double platinum plugs(walmart) I'm removing in the morning and replacing with ac delco plugs. Has new looking wires. Car also has a really strong exhaust smell. Everything seems to be fine but it just runs too rich and idles not like I belive it should. Idle is at 1000rpms. I have posted a video on the car on YouTube if yall would go watch it you can get a better idea. You can search it by typing mustang88 in the search bar on YouTube. Any ideas or advice would help and be much appreciated. And thanks in advance guys
