crazy steering wheel!!

See that? That's how my wheel looks when I'm driving perfectly straight. Is there any way I can correct that so that it is actually level? (Note that the car does not have any problems with pulling to either side.) Thanks

My steering wheel does the same thing...though i think it tilts toward the other side.

Doubt there's anything wrong with it. Probably just means that GM can't install a steering wheel on straight .

Oh, well, just as long as the damn thing doesn't come off in my hands while I'm driving 55 down the road

somebody once explained what caused cars to do that while remaining in perfect alignment, but i forgot exactly what he told me...
When you get the vehicle ALIGNED tell them that you want them to zero out the steering wheel. Any reputable shop should do it automatically, but some are lazy and don't. Your alignment may not be off as far as driving straight. But technically it is.

yes get it aligned

damnit yes you do need one if your steering wheel is off and you want it str8 and also your tires may not be off or any thing

also if you car dont pull your toe can still be way out of whack

and maybe if it does pull its just tires and not your alignment

Dude, Do you honestly think they would make cars that had stering wheels that "skipped a few teeth on the column" when you hit a pot hole? Crazy.....Anyway

By-the-way: That shows you right there that ASE certified doesn't mean S#IT! Half the ASE guys I've brought my car to don't even speak english. What, do they give the test in 40 languages like driver's licenses? We all know that passing a written driver's license test does not mean you can drive.
