Because of the way I drive, I rarely ever let the car pull past 3k rpm, but every once in a while I like to run the car hard.

Well, last night, I was pulling hard through second gear, and right around 4500 it lost all power and felt strangled. It made it through and then resumed pulling hard. I did it again, and it was fine. Assuming all the ignition components are okay (plugs, wires, coils) does that just mean there's some type of carbon buildup in there?

 

more then likly yes... if you notice alot of smoke coming out the exhust on WOT then you have some major build up. if so just run it hard a few times and get that **** out of ur engine
