Question is it ever safe?

to manually open your throttle body with ur fingers from the outside when the throttle body is still on the manifold?, and also would having a 3/4 "sized hole in my inlet throttle body screen be bad in anysort ,if so would it have ruined my mass air flow sensor so that i would have to get a new one>>? please anyone ~Levi

umm are you asking is it ok to open the throttle blades with your fingers?yea that wouldnt damage anything..

as for your throttle body screen.. there is not such thing. are you reffering to a mass air flow meter? maybe if you put up pictures i could be more help.

huh.. well.. im not gonna lie ive never in my life heard about a screen that goes over the throttle body. is this for a v6? or something. because ive built more then 1 lt1 and have never seen that. id guess you dont even need it but honestly i have no idea because i didnt even know that existed.

yeah it is for a 2000 v6 , but hey if my mass air flow sensor was down and ruined would that definately have any play in why my car hesitates when im driving
