Smile Exhaust options needed asap!

I have a 96 camaro, stock exhuast.

What in your opinion sounds the best, and where can I hear some?

I'm looking around and seeing some like borla stuff, and some magnaflow.

(In a magazine I have)

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I didn't find the Magnaflows or Borla systems to be very affordable. I just got the SLP Loud Mouth installed last Friday and I'm VERY VERY happy with the result. My vote goes to that one.

Re: Exhaust options needed asap!

I was just looking at loudmouth GT actually. I'll try and find some clips.

Dunno, there are some camaro's around here that just have a low rumble just sitting there. The video's that I have seen don't really have that, I dont know if it's just the video quality? Or what. But I just like to hear them

Lol, sorry i'm just pretty new to this car stuff, so I'm trying to put it simple.

I like SLP center mount exhaust, it's my favorite sounding. It has this high-compression kinda subwoofery sound.

Re: Exhaust options needed asap!

Magnaflow or Borla for a V6, SLP Loudmouth or TSP Rumbler for a V8.

You should post this on the V6 Tech forum, or on General F-Body Tech.... not on "Apearance". I'll move it to V6 Tech for you.

Re: Exhaust options needed asap!

Borla on a V6? never heard that before.

People say my car sounds great.....for a 6.

I have 2.5 flowmasters w/ 40 series muffler + headers. But it sounded good with stock manifolds.

Re: Exhaust options needed asap!

I'm about to get a pair of Dynomax super turbo's for the Prix. They sound very nice with the 3800.

Turn up your speakers....a lot.

3800s are very difficult to make sound presentable without a cam, but these things seem to do the job nicely.
