GM V6 vs Ford V6

GM V6 vs Ford V6
Just wondering how our 3.4 and 3.8's fair against the V6's from the Ford camp. What are average 1/4 mile times for each stock and also with some bolt on's? Just crossed my mind yesterday when my buddy came over with his 3.4.

My 3.4L not heavy modded, took out pre99 3.8L v6s like they were nothing, and took out plenty of 99+ v6s...
Light to mild bolt ons, Gm still taking over, but once you get into big buildups like forced induction and such, Ford takes over.
Though I do think GM is starting to catch up with HP tuners and DHP tuners coming out. I don't know much about highgly modded N/A fords but I think GM has edged them out...
We don't know much about the new V6 Stangs but on paper they look like they may take out GM v6s.

3.4 Fords are dogs, plain and simple. They simply have no *****, automatics especially.
The early 3.8s weren't much better but the later 3.8s are a little more respectable, but a GM 3.8 will still take them out.
I haven't had a chance to run a '05 V6 yet...I'm sure with my mods I can take them down.
Now if only GM would make a production turbo
