I dont think you should be recomending CROWER regrinds to everyone when a fresh core from compcams is available.

Headwork gains are minimal unless you have a power adder. YOu can run a large cam and stock heads still work really well. I run SSM heads but im building a turbo motor.

.4 is not considered minimal is it? and that is without proper tuning. i think the power pack was a great investment, and i have no power adder. i know .4 isnt the world, but i believe ince i get my car tuned properly, my .4 will hopefully turn into .8. i might be wrong though-we will just have to wait and see.

.4 is not minimal. Good gain. But it is mostly from the cam not the heads. You dont need any heads except for stock untill you start putting in large duration cams and high lift cams. .4 was from the cam not the heads.

Thats some fat duration but why such a whimpy lift? Is that on a compcam? What grind? Extreme Energy?

In your case im sure decent flowing heads will help. Just wondering why you went limp **** on the lift.

In a typical aftermarket street cam area below half lift is 210% of that above half lift.

that lift was not my choosing. it was supposed to be .50 but crower are freaks and gave me (i guess) what they wanted. they also screwed up on a friend of mines cam. thats 2 strikes against crower in my book. back in the day when i got this cam, people where not even thinking about higher than .5. back then it was taboo. now it is common practice.
