I think my V6 is getting horrible mileage

I still haven't been approved from Camaro/Firebird v6.com, it's been 2 full weeks plus 2 days, I emailed some admins about a week ago, no replys from any of them. I guess later I'll email every admin I can find on the site, and email them everyday until I'm approved. I could probably get access to Area 51 easier then this site, it's rediculous.

Gas Mileage
Hello.
I just want to throw in my .2 cents on the subject. I have a 99 v6 with a stick. When I drive rought, accelerate faster then most cars, have fun feeling the G's I CAN GET as low as 250 on the tank. Never had anything below 250. Most of the time it was in the 300 (280, 290, 320).
I decided to drive slow. (Don't ask me why ) For a lont time already I do not get my RPMs on acceleration beyond 2k. Sometimes it is 2.5, but never more. I found out a very surprising gift, if I switch exactly at 2k I am not holding up traffic nor I lag behind. I also found out that v6 has the optimal speed of 65@2k RPM around 70+@2.5. I am not a mechanic and I might be wrong here, but with how I drive my car I got 410 miles on a tank. I was a little nervous because I was expecting my car to stall any moment, but I still had some fuel to get to the gas station.
I am think it all depends on how you drive your car. The 410 mileage is combined with city driving also.
Thank you.

my 2.8 camaro gets anywhere from 300 to a tank driving hard in city to 500 tank on cruise on the highway
my 86 lincoln towncar (5.0 EFI f150 engine-not mustang) driving short trips, without going hard in the city gets less than 300 to a tank on the highway it gets about 400 to a tank
these are in kilometers btw

I can get 200 miles out of a tank of gas. Driving normal. My dads 01 SS gets better gas mileage than my car. And my fuel pump went twice and I have only owned the car for just under 2 years. And no I dont drive with less than a half tank or anything. It just dies.
