K&N FIPK 3.4 or 5.7?
ok, this may be a dumb question, but i was looking at getting a K&N CAI setup and the pictures for the 5.7 model and the one for the 3.4 look almost exactly the same, the reason i ask is that i can get one for a 5.7 cheaper than i can for the 3.4, and if its all the same to the car, then ima spring for the cheaper one. Thanks guys
oh yea, i have a 3.4, i just really want a decent CAI

It's still the same car and the underhood (intake tube routing, airbox location, etc) other than 2 more cylinders and a few other things is the same....
Besides, as bad as the 3.4L top end flows, neither CAI will do much for you. But, you will at least have it already when you do your 3400 top end swap.

Re: K&N FIPK 3.4 or 5.7?
Having owned a 3.4L and 5.7L I know they are both the same thing. They both mount up to the Intake Elbow at the same spot and mount to the body of the car underneath the headlight. They are identical.
What he said is that the 3.4L has a ****ty top end (Intake/Head Flow) If you get it opened up you will notice a considerible difference. There's a member on here who did a 3400 swap, from like a Grand Am GT, or Impala. He took the top end off one of those motors in put it on his 3.4L Camaro.
