Post So, I get a call from one of the editors at GM High Tech Perf and High Perf Pontiac

Damn, it was ages ago that I went for the photo shoot.
Marc and Pete were there (from www.ls1.com/forums ).
Thanks again Pete for the loan of your pretty weld drag lites w/ et streets!!
Mine are on salad shooters.
Well Rick Jensen called me today.
He is writing up the feature next week.
Tuesday morning he will go over all the last minute things.
He said 20-30 min phone call.
He is the Associate Editor for GM High Tech Perf and High Perf Pontiac.
I am soooooooooo excited for this oppertunity.
Ahhhhhhh makes my v6 well worth it.
My v6 was also in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords
GM High Tech twice, once mentioned in an article as a 12 second v6 juiced and once in the readers rides.
At the photo shoot I pulled 1.630 60 foot!!!
12.6 et
All done with a tranny on its last legs and TNT fuel solenoid locking up.
The tranny has been rebuilt to handle a 10 second car.
Fuel solenoid will be sent out shortly to get rebuilt. The TNT tech's said it is most likely a plunger or spring that needs to be changed from what I am describing.
Walbro in tank 255 lph pump and maft translator in a month.
Can it go quicker, who knows.
should it, hell yeah.
Dream times, 11's, this year!!
Picking up my et streets from my house in vermont this sunday.
So, as soon as I find out the issue I'll let everyone know

NIce... I hope they do up a nice article.

You think they would put up a v6 every now and then especially since there are more v6s on the roads then v8s.

First an 11 sec. 305, now a 12 sec. V6!!! I give you guys serious props for the work on your cars. I've found out during my 14 years of street racing (never been on a track, but have hundreds of wins under my belt) that alot of times it comes down to the simplest thing. THE GAS PEDAL- if you dont hit it right, I dont care if you have a 502 I will catch you slippin and pass the line before you correct your mistake!!!Racing comes down to your horses, your trans, and how much have you practiced on your gearing (even automatics, sometimes I prefer starting in low). I hope they do a good job on the article, you sure deserve it.
