I think they're around 115 to 118. Some computer programming will take care of that.

mine is set at 115mph.

does it hurt the car in any way if i push it to the limit until the governer kicks in?

all it does is kick it down a gear right?

Mine is set to the standard 115 MPH too. And I could have disabled it with computer work, but for now I chose not too. Mainly because you don't want to be pulling any speed in which your tires are not rated for. That's a real easy way to kill yourself. Also, the stock suspension on the V6 is the weakest of all F-bodies. Anything more than 115 (whether you choose to do it or not) just isn't safe.

Now after I have a suspension and Z or Y rated tires, then I'll pull the govenor off.

And naw, it won't harm the car, I bang the govenor at least a couple times a week.
harming the car should be the least of your worries though, 115 MPH is a fast speed, even if it doesn't feel like it. One bump in the road and its lights out for you and anyone else around you. Personally I've had a couple blow-outs at 75-80 MPH, and I've seen those end in fatalities. I can't imagine losing a tire in excess of 100.

Be smart and never exceed your equipment.

Yes you do . My old V6 had a governor on it at 115, and I hit it a couple times while running from the cops
