Went to the strip

I went to the strip and run 9.9 in the 1/8 mile. Is that good for a v6 (1997 5-speed)???

I'd say that's pretty good for a six. What was your 60ft.?

My 60ft was 2.14
my 330ft was 6.41

well my Cobalt can beat you. But to be fair it is 8 years newer technonlogy.

Thats a good time for a V6 though

Ha, my friend had a 3rd gen with a ZZ-4 in it that he could barely muster low 9's in the 1/8th with. Of course that car didn't run worth a crap either...it was dogged out.

what gears do you have?
i ran a 9.751 stock, 2.19 60', which was a 15.281 1/4 mile.
