Will 99 firebird v6 rims fit a 94 formula?
I have a 99 Firebird V6, with 4 wheel-disc brakes. I am selling my old rims on ebay. A guy is bidding on them who has a 1994 Formula. He also has 4 wheel disc. Will they fit? He said he bought 2002 takeoff rims and they did NOT fit his car. Said the bore was off a little. I have a another story for my rims that i am selling. I sold them to a girl with a 1995 Camaro V6, these rims fit on the front fine, but she had rear drums and they did not fit on the rear. It was off like 1/8 of a inch off. A shop in town wanted like 75 dollars a wheel to bore them out a hair. I laughed at them and went on. So my question is will they fit the formula in 1994 and what the HE** is the difference in bolt pattern and bore pattern from year to year for firebirds and camaros. I thought all firebird rims from 1993-up were the same? Thanks for all the help

In 97 they went with slightly smaller center piece on the rear. I had 97 wheels on my car. It was tight, but they fit if you put some muscle to it. Just take some sand paper and sand down the rear where the wheels touch the middle piece. It's not that bad. It's millimeters. If that guy couldn't make the rims fit, he is a freakin retard who shouldn't touch his car at all. Either that or he has the strength of a new born. Out of all the aftermarket parts that weren't an exact fit on my car I learned to use my brain cells and make them fit. He sounds like a whiny b****. Tell him to buy some sand paper and spend 5min on his rear. From 1-100 difficulty, this is a 0. A retard in a straight jacket could put them on.

Nope, I didn't do any sanding. If he is taking them off on regular basis he should do some sanding. I don't know if you want to sand your wheels though. That might lower the value. I don't know though. I'd rather sand the already rusted rear.
