Thumbs up Alamo Results Last Night 8/7

Damn there were some good races last night! But the highlight of the evening was that Bran ran consistent 13s all night long! Way to go Bran!

I got some video of Bran and Jesse running and Bran got one of Jesse and me running. We all were in the 13s all night long. And for those of you who said I needed a torque converter (Loco) well you were extremely right! I ran a 13.2 at 111 and because my torque converter practically died off the line my 4th run, pedal to the floor car bogs and sputters off the line, I ended up with a 19.07 at 71. Needless to say I think my verter fried itself. All in all it was fun and we had some great races. I should have beaten that trailer queen at the end, he only ran a 13.7 at 106. Damn that sucks. Oh well I had fun.

Yep, much fun. I need DR's bad!!! I run a consistant 2.2* launching at idle. Launching anything about idle I run a 2.3* - 2.4*. I was running consitant 13.4's though at about 110, but had a 111.11 at 13.41.
Lost my first race to Brann though! He had like a 13.7 and I had a 13.9. Missed 3rd though and hit 5th instead. Good race though.

That was a blast. I did finally cut a 2.0 60 ft and a .590 light but my fuel pressure didn't hang in there long enough. Oh well, at least I'm finding the weak links. I'm going to try and install in intank pump this weekend. You two were smokin'. The best race of the night was between the two of you. That was cool to watch/hear. One of you needs a 'verter and the other needs to fill his bottle. Once that's done, look out. We'll have to get together and do this again.

Definitely, I'll be there again! I might just make 1 or 2 passes though after that debacle with my verter.

Nice!

You will be surprised much different a converter will make it feel. After you put one in will be wondering what took you so long to get one.

The verter isn't bad in low RPMs, I haven't pushed it too hard since last night. I don't think I did too much damage, but who knows, we'll see in the next few weeks.

Dom, you must be in the prescription phase of your residency . You're starting to bounce of the walls lately.

I only did 1 run on the bottle and it was a pathetic run, considering I was loosing pressure and I came off the gas before I hit the final light. I ran a 13.2 at 105MPH. Pretty bad. Hopefully next time I will have a full bottle and maybe some better tires!!! I'm up for going out again.

Test and Tune is Wed.
Personally If your going to drive all this way I would suggest Rivercity Raceway though.
