Any interest in a 1997 Formula with lots of mods and new paint?

I have a 1997 Formula and heres the deal.

I bought it, actually owe 800 left on it, because I sold my classic Camaros and wanted a newer ride with cold a/c, fuel injection, better economy and still fun...etc.

Well, found out I cant live without my 70-73's, and found a nice 71 4 speed I want.

Heres the rundown on it, and open to offers and may even part out.

Its got 2400 miles on motor and trans.
Motor is 383 with a 306cam in it. Scat crank, eagle rods 6 inch, probe pistons forged. Moly rings, h series bearings, all balanced etc.
GMPP timing set, comp cam lifters and cam, manely valves, mild port work on heads and intake, comp springs, new gmpp rockers and pushrods.
Motor runs great, car is fast, and hasnt had a computer tune either yet.
Has Moroso cold air kit, air foil, Edelbrock shortie headers into dual exhaust with Pypes oval mufflers Race Pro style.
New MSD wires, New plat spark plugs, Accel optispark, new waterpump.
New manifold assembly hose for airconditioning, new a/c charge, new coolant.

4l60e is out of a vette, has all the upgrades...servo, sunshell, kevlar clutches, etc. 2000 stall in it.

aluminum driveshaft, 3.08 posi

97 Camaro SS wheels? the 4 spoke plain chrome ones on the Camaros.
Have QA1 coil/shocks for front and shocks for rear, as well as lowering springs, just havent installed yet.
Also have panhard bar as well, not installed yet.

Car is red, has crack in drivers door from someone backing into it, but heres the catch, I AM PAINTING THIS CAR FOR THE BUYER! and I mean nice paint, not some half a** ed job. I bought a ram air hood for it, or can put old back on it.

Interior is grey cloth. Radio is a plain aiwa cd player. Stock shifter.

Car is very fast, and dependable, cold a/c, never gets past 180, I MEAN NEVER, even 110 degrees outside in houston. And I run a shop and have my Snap on scanner to check ECT and TEMP to verify, its a cool motor.

HERE ARE THE NEGATIVES:

1) Opti or Waterpump shaft seal is still leaking. I have replaced both but still a small leak. It is barely there, but it gets messy on bottom of motor and annoys the hell out of me, but oil level hardly moves and I use Royal Purple, so wouldnt be doing so if wasting the oil.

2) No rear oxygen sensors due to dual exhaust, so will need to get tuned out or simulators. That is only DTC code that comes up is the oxygen sensors. But it runs great and doesnt hurt it, sometimes a little fat, but I rarely drive like an old lady and plugs look good everytime I check every few weeks.

3) Carpet is old, not a basket case but just old, and with new paint might not look as good as can be.

4) Dash pad is cracked like all. Have a cheap carpet cover over it now and like the less glare factor.

5) Tires have good tread, but car sat for a while before I bought it, and they arent anything special, so would buy better ones.

6) Needs a brake improvement due to power. Was going to do slotted or drilled and Hawk pads, but waiting now.

7) Headlight motors are off and on noisy. Work fine, but can get noisy

Thats about it.
Cruise control works, a/c is great, shifts great in manual or auto. Fast even with a highway gear (3.42 would be perfect and good fuel economy as well still)
Body lines good, doors shut good, glass is good, motor is clean and detailed, minus the small leak. Runs incredible, oh also have a Edelbrock Strut tower brace I will put on.

Any questions email me. Can email pics, but just remember its getting new paint anyways. All I ask if serious on getting, some sort of deposit to cover starting the paint. Figure 7-14 days I can have it ready, and I am a real shop, and tons of ways to check me out, its not a scam, just figure if going to paint your way for you, some assurance its sold and I dont put more effort into rather than just settling for a lower price.

Asking 8000 for it as described with all parts I have for it installed...shocks/struts/springs/strut tower/panhard and fresh alignment afterwards. And new paint. The hard part on motor/trans is done already. And it can take a 150 shot no problem.

6400 for as it sits now cosmetically with new parts installed NO PAINT

and 5500 for as it sits now no suspension upgrades

car is driven daily to my shop, can pm for location.

Would part out:
Motor for 3500OBO complete
Trans 750 wth converter and driveshaft
Dual exhaust with headers 250.00
QA suspension stuff 400
panhard 100
strut tower 135
rest could do in pieces.

I also still have that 93 z28 with 92000 miles on it for sale for 3000 obo, took as trade on work. Needs interior costmetics, and rear brakes.
I may keep if I unload the Formula, and keep as my "new" F body itch.

I think its a fair price on the Formula, its fast, powerful, will handle great, dependable, comfortable, and will look very nice. Again, this will not be a cheapo paint job, and all that is told about the car I personally will gaurantee

You will be dealing with me at my business as well, so not scamming, hiding, or trying to rip off, dont have time for games myself. I just jumped into it and realized I cant live without my old muscle, carb topped motors and the ease of working on them.
