anyone have a clutch switch that'll work on a 96 z28?

well for the last 3 months, my car hasnt wanted to start, so i had to run a wire from the starter all the way up to the battery bust(by passing all the starter stuff), so everytime i wanted to start my car i had to pop the hood, and touch the wire to the bus(ya trust me, i felt gay, but had no choice), and yesterday i took the time to actually find the prob!!! and found it, haha, its a bad clutch switch, went to autozone, bought one for $5.19? cool right? no, it didnt fit in the holder for the clutchswitch , so i had to just put a jumper wire in its place instead, so i dont have to put my foot on the clutch when i start it, even though thats ok for right now, id still like my car to be normal, so if anyone has one, off of a wrecked z or something let me know, thanks guys

..sorry about the long story
