On another note. I don't think it's his responsibility to CONTACT YOU. I think it's YOUR responsibility to CONTACT HIM and update him as to where the project stands. That's like contracting for someone to build a pool in your backyard, six months later it's still not finished, you call the company and they say "well you never called us and told us to finish it." Huh?????

He paid you in advance. If he wasn't made aware of ADDITIONAL expenses due to your extra work, it ain't his problem. Plain and Simple. You can't do someone a "favor" and then throw it in their face when it benefits you. That's bad business.

Thumbs up

Ryan, I got a window motor. Let me know when I can get with you to put it in.

After gears and cam/spring install in my car I highly recommend Ryan.

Actually, it isn't Ahart's job to contact him. It is HIS job to contact Ahart. A dealership/shop doesn't contact you, YOU contact them. If he wants to schedule a time to have it fully repaired, he calls. A dealership doesn't call and say, "Uh, look like I have time on July 7th, how about you bring it by then?" YOU are suspose to call and say that. How does this benefit him? How is he throwing it in his face? First of all, Slo-ride, you aren't one of the parties involved. Neither am I, but since you jumped in, why the hell shouldn't I? You weren't there whenever the work went down, and OBVIOUSLY you responded without hearing both sides of the story.

That's bad manners.

i waited b/c his dad was going to call me, i was going to finish the job and had planned to until this! i do poeple a big favor by doing side work and doing it good and cheap. i wasnt avoiding, trying to rip anyone off anything i am a VERY! busy person i work all day then go home and work other guys cars. i went on vacation that was planned for one year with family that came into town and he was aware of it. i did charlies (texz) cam in between now and then as well i have been busy. anyone that tries to contact me does. there wasnt any other additional expenses i asked if the a/c system work before i did the retrofit and i was told it did so i did the retrofit changed the hoses that were bad, informed him it may leak b/c ofthe seals and when i serviced it it did!

Korben, obviously I haven't heard both sides of the story? And how do you know that? Bliggida told me over 6 weeks ago that Ryan hadn't finished the job and was worried. It still isn't done. Ryan is so "busy" that he did a cam install on another client's car? How many other jobs did he do while the A/C job waited? Bottom line, the work didn't get done. Or at the very least, his client isn't satisfied. As for the entirety of your post Korben, it shows your blatant stupidity. Yes, I said "stupidity" which is different than ignorance. Ignorance can be forgiven.

Wow... I have no idea where you work, but it sure sounds like some improvements are needed over there in terms of internal communication.

Or then the employees shouldn't give out their work numbers to anybody.

Hope you two get this straightened out soon.

If you asked me two years ago who Ryan Ahart and Bliggida were? I would have to say that I had never heard of either of them.

But today is a different story, I know who my friend Ryan Ahart is.

And it was wrong of "Bliggida"(whoever you may be) to slam Ryan on this board, this could have been resolved behind closed doors.

For those of you who don't agree with me, you obviously don't know Ryan.

How does my cam run? lopey lopey? That ran 13.01 at 107 on a 2.0x 60' on a hot night. DId you do headers? Made a big diff for me. I still have my LT1 PCM I'll send you for free, you can get it tuned if you want. Ed Wright can do the hot cam like no one...even through the mail.

Take care, pass the cheese. THis is a classy party.

I don't care what Biggwhatever his name is says about his "experience". It's obvious to me that he's just an impatient lil f*ck who doesn't give a damn about other people's personal lives. I had some work done by Ryan, and not a single problem, I know TONS of other people that have nothing but good stuff to say about him as well. I honestly doubt that he's trying to do anything wrong to you, you're just overreacting. It's not his fault is some stupid line broke and had to wait for a replacement part.

You have no right to just come on here and flame him for something that's most likely not his fault, or you're being impatient on. I'd go back to Ryan any day to get work done on my car... only reason he hasn't done ALL the work on my car is because I'm not in San Antonio.

Ryan,

If you want some work but don't want the head ache of people complaining then I have some headers and gears that I need installed. I know that you do good, cheap work. Next time someone complains about Ryan's work, you should have a dealer do it and pay 3 to 4 times more.

Stop complaining about work done for a good price. If you want a warrenty then pay more and take it to the dealer!

Ryan, let me know when you will have time.

Ryan is a stand up guy, and is honest as they come "ALL" the work on my car was & is done by him. He has never "ONCE" cheated me out in any way. In fact he saved me a lot of money, so many times, and has always been there for me when I had a car problem, big or small. I was without my car for about 3-4 months, and it did not bother me simply for the fact that the work was getting done right!

Bligga: You have no right to post a personal problem between you, and him like this in a public place. You did this just trash Ryan's image. I don't like that, and many more here won't either.
Ryan is a busy man, with a family, and a job where they constantly hose him! Still he would, and will make the time to help people, even risking his job, housing our cars at his job, after they repeatly told not to! Also if your such a car guy, why didn't you fix it your self

Ryan: You have my support, and I'm sure you can work this out with this jerk off There are immature people in the world, and he is one of them.

Alex
