im thinking about getting rid of my SS rims, im just trying to find a diff look, i will trade + $$$ for chrome ss rims or TT2's, the front tires are futura ultra z about 70-80% tread left, and the rears are phantom radial zrx about 50% tread left, all of the tires are 275.40.r17s, i might trade for ur stockers + $$ let me know if interested, the rims, do have some curb rash, but not bad, heres some pics of them on my Z...

How much $$$ are you lookin to get w/ a trade of some stock 5 stars?

 

what kind of tread u have on ur tires? and what kind of tires? what condition are the rims in?

 

If you're looking to get a different look, Id recomend chroming your ZR1's. IMO they are one of the best looking wheels on our f bodies, and the chrome ones are the best. I wouldnt get rid of them if I were you. JMHO though

 

well they have some curbrash on them..can they chrome them w curbrash? and i posted a diff thread about chroming wheels and someone posted saying it costs $200per wheel to chrome, or was that just BS?

 

If nothing else, have them powdercoated or painted. Im just going to paint mine myself. Ive done it before, and if you take your time, it comes out pretty good.

Look in the phone book for wheel repair and such. Im sure there's a place to chrome around here. I dont think it will cost near that much.
