I was riding my bike thru the woods and came across a motor. Stopped to take a look and it was an aluminum block with 5.7 stamped on the back of it. No heads but still had the rotating assembly and oil pan. 1 snapped rod though and a pretty big hole in the block, but if anyone needs any parts I'll sell em dirt cheap.

well, cam and lifters look good, timing chain and gears good, oil pan's bad. crank and 7 of the rods might be ok. couple of sensors might be good... balancer, water pump, etc.
all the internals were actually still coated with oil, so im thinking it wasnt sitting for too long.

 

That is some funny shiot. I want to see pictures of the damage.

 

You shouldnt worry about other engines Bran. Just concentrate on getting your to put out over 300HP

Well, I just got word that my FPR that was ordered hasn't come in so I cancelled it and am going to order one through Jeg's today. I should have it all back together by the end of next week. We shall see.
